Fees and Insurance
Starting therapy is an investment in your well-being, and it’s important to understand the practical details. Below you’ll find clear information about session fees and insurance so you can make decisions that feel informed and comfortable.
Individual Therapy
Individual sessions are 53 minutes long and are offered at $150 per session.
I am currently in network with Aetna and accepting Aetna clients. I’ve also applied to join Blue Cross Blue Shield and UnitedHealthcare and am waiting for approval. While those applications are in progress, I welcome private pay clients.
If you plan to use out-of-network benefits, I’m happy to provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. I encourage you to check with your provider so you understand what coverage may be available.
I believe therapy should feel as accessible as possible, and a limited number of sliding-scale spots may be available. Please reach out if cost is a concern — we can talk through your options together.
Couples Therapy
Couples sessions are 53 minutes long and are offered at $150 per session.
I provide therapy for couples on a private-pay basis. Currently, insurance plans do not typically cover couples sessions, so payment is arranged directly with my office at the time of service.
I believe therapy should feel accessible whenever possible, and limited sliding-scale spots may be available. Please feel free to ask if cost is a concern — we can talk through your options together.
A Note on Insurance
I am an out-of-network provider for most insurance plans, allowing flexibility and privacy in your care. Superbills are available for potential insurance reimbursement. I accept Aetna for individual sessions, please check with your provider for coverage details.
Scheduling and payment
Payment is due at the time of your appointment, and we accept major credit cards, HSA and FSA funds, checks, and cash. A $35 fee will be charged for any returned or bounced checks.
Because your appointment time is reserved just for you, I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. This helps me offer consistent care to everyone I work with. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged the full session fee.
These policies help me provide the best care for all my clients.
